Crispy Chicken for 1 πŸ—

I am a sucker for a crispy whole roasted chicken, but a whole chicken is way too much for me, so I love to make these half chickens from Apsey Farms (use code HELEN10) which are corn and soy free ! This meat is so flavorful that it needs very little to taste amazing- I honestly just add a high quality sea salt and let the meat and air fryer do its magic ❀️😍

A bone in chicken is great since it’s truly a nose to tail meal that contains essential amino acids, collagen, fats and lots of essential nutrients and vitamins! Be sure to eat the skin and chew off the bone, that’s where the good stuff is!

What’s great about this recipe is that you really only need 2 ingredients and about 30 minutes πŸ™ƒ

To make you need:

1 half chicken πŸ”

Sea salt πŸ§‚

Any additional spices you like πŸ˜‰

Butter for serving 🧈

How to:

Bring the chicken to room temperature and pat it dry. This helps make sure the skin is crispy! Season liberally with salt.

Preheat your airfryer to 375Β°F and airfry for 20 minutes skin side up!

Flip and cook on the other side for 10 minutes. For the last 2 minutes can turn up the temperature a bit longer to crisp the skin up even more!

Let the meat rest for a few minutes before cutting into it to let the juices redistribute πŸ™ƒ
