Scallops with Alfredo Sauce πŸ¦ͺ

Scallops are such a nutrient bomb and are a good idea include on a well rounded animal based diet 😍

They are a member of the shell fish family and contain many minerals, vitamin b12, amino acids and essential fatty acids

The sweet and lean scallops are complimented well by a creamy sauce made from cream and some pecorino cheese, if you’re not tolerant to dairy, I suggest coconut cream as a swap πŸ˜‰ I personally can only tolerate A2 or raw cream, and sheeps cheese!

I love to have this with in combination with some steak as β€œsurf and turf” πŸ₯©

To make you need:

Scallops πŸ¦ͺ

Ghee for searing 🧈

Salt πŸ§‚

2-3 tablespoons of cream, I use raw A2 cream πŸ₯›

A bit of pecorino or parmesan grated in to taste πŸ§€

How to:

Begin by heating up ghee in a stainless steal pan. Pat your scallops dry. You want the pan to be very hot when you sear them to get a nice crust.

When the pan is hot enough, sear the scallops for 1-2 minutes on each side. Then season with salt and turn down the heat, pour the cream into the pan and use it to deglaze it. When the cream starts to bubble and thicken, grate in some pecorino cheese!
