Easy Baked Tomato Sauce πŸ…

This tomato sauce is a great addition to enjoy with a pasta swap, or as a side with meat/fish. We made this to go with our crispy whole chicken 😍

I haven’t tried this yet, but I’m sure it would make a delicious base for a fat fueled flatbread or keto pizza, Bolognese Sauce or Keto Lasagna πŸ™ŒπŸ»

It’s easily made in the oven and is full of anti-viral garlic and super fuel grass-fed butter πŸ˜‹πŸ™ŒπŸ»

You only need a handful of ingredients:

28 ounces (usually one can) of whole tomatoes (these are poached) πŸ…

1/2 stick of butter 🧈

8 garlic gloves πŸ§„

Salt and pepper πŸ§‚

As well as a baking dish and an oven

To make:

Preheat the oven to 425Β°F

Pour the tomatoes into the baking dish (13Γ—9 in) works well and scatter the rest of the ingredients onto the tomatoes

The whole tomatoes are covered with pieces of butter and the garlic gloves, as well as salt and pepper

Roast 35-40 minutes and then mash with a fork, make sure to check it every now and then to avoid burned edgesπŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ³

Then the oven safe dish is transferred to the oven, we used a Le Creuset Dish!
Ready to be mashed πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Left overs can be stored in the fridge for a few days πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ³ or enjoyed with baked trout from Rainbow King Foods (use code CUREATED to save)!
